Hadithi Handwoven Sisal Bags

Hand-woven by a women’s collective in the Central region of Kenya, each one takes between 6-7 days to complete.  This coil tradition of sisal basket weaving is passed down through, generations of women and is a proud tradition of the elders in the villages across this region. My grandmother and my mother were great basket weavers. Our bags and baskets are a 100% Kenyan all-natural sisal fiber with strong leather handles. Very flexible and durable.
